Not All Veneers Are the Same

Lumineers® are thinner than traditional veneers, which allows for minimally aggressive preparation, and the ability to maintain more of your natural, healthy tooth structure. The typical veneer preparation often calls for shots and anesthesia to prevent pain. With the reduced preparation of Lumineers®, there is often no pain or shots involved.

Typical veneers require unsightly acrylic temporaries between visits. Because Lumineers® only slightly alter the natural shape of your tooth, we are able to skip this step while you wait for your custom-made Lumineers®.

While many dental offices will be happy to apply veneers for you, Lumineers® require additional training that Thomas Young DDS has had. Be sure to call us first when considering veneers for a new smile.
